Mauro VS 2020
Tempranillo 100% from selected grapes. From vineyards located in Tudela de Duero and Traspinedo.
TO NOTHING
The lack of rainfall throughout the cycle and some frost at the beginning of May explain a vintage with lower yields than usual, which coincided with the start of the earliest harvest so far. The vineyards of El Rosal and Traspinedo were harvested during the second week of September, after a very dry summer, in order to preserve the freshness of the berries, in a harvest characterized by short macerations, measured extraction and clear fruit.
TASTING
Overflowing fruitiness in a rich and varied aromatic palette. Energetic and classy, with an enveloping texture and formidable persistence.
BREEDING AND CONSUMPTION
It was bottled in February 2021 after aging for 26 months in French oak barrels. One of the greats of the Duero in a magical vintage.
